Description
From our unique soto, a privileged place where the vineyards flourish surrounded by chestnut and cherry trees, Altos de San Clemente was born. A great red from Bierzo that combines all the complexity and richness of the land with the expertise of the winemaker.
Nose:
Red Fruit – sour cherry, pomegranate
Black Fruit – blackberries
Pungent Spice – black licorice
Dairy – cream, yoghurt
Palate: Dry, high acidity, medium tannin, full body, flavour – almond, coconut, chocolate, toast – , long finish
Spicy rice dishes, Chinese style crispy duck pancakes, spaghetti and meatballs, baked pasta such as lasagne, mild to medium hard cheeses, chicken, pork casseroles
